AI Suggestions

Let the genetic algorithm suggest an optimized meal plan based on your recipe preferences, pantry inventory, nutritional balance, and household member wishes. Review the plan, swap individual meals, and accept when you're happy.

Dinner Party Mode

Planning a dinner party? Select your guests and their dietary restrictions. Robotato filters recipes to show only safe options and highlights allergen conflicts. See per-guest allergen breakdowns on every recipe.

Meal Wish Voting

Household members can suggest and vote on meals they'd like to eat. Wishes automatically expire after a configurable period. The AI meal planner considers active wishes when generating plans, so popular requests bubble up naturally.

Cook Assignment

Assign who cooks each meal. Set default cooking patterns — for example, "Partner cooks every Wednesday dinner." Cook indicators appear on every meal card so the whole household knows who's responsible. Override defaults for any individual meal.

Pantry Availability

See at a glance which ingredients you already have. Traffic light indicators on each planned meal: green means all ingredients are in stock, yellow means some are missing, red means most need to be purchased. Plan smarter by prioritizing recipes that use what you already own.

Flexible Event Types

Not every meal slot needs a full recipe. Choose from seven event types: reheat leftovers, quick cook, full cook, meal prep, eat out, no meal, or custom. Each type is color-coded by effort level, giving you a visual overview of your cooking workload for the week.
